cafeGAINZ Tip of the Day - Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008

Oh yeah....its GAINZ-MAKING time! Wanna spark the cultivation of some new LMM? Switch off between BB and DB exercises. For example, some people only do standing bicep curls with a BB, while others only perform them with DBs. That is a problem. You have to do both to get the full benefit of the exercise. BB typically adds mass since you can do more weight, but DBs refine your GAINZ and balance you out. You can even do both during the same workout (e.g. 2 sets of BB, followed by 2 sets of DB). The same principle should be applied to almost all exercises. So get out of the same ol' rut, and mix that sttteeeeeezzzzzz up. As Johnny would say, "train hard, eat right, make GAINZ."
